Aus Spaß an der Freude spiele ich in einer Blaskapelle (mit der Seite habe ich nichts zu tun ). Rage against the machine haben wir allerdings noch nicht gespielt… Die George Mason University Green Machine schon. Awesome. Insbesondere die kleine Querflöte im roten T-Shirt verdient besondere Beachtung

Neues Beatsteaks-Album Boombox im Stream

Gerade bei der Visions gesehen & mal schnell notiert: Das Beatsteaks-Album Boombox gibt’s ~~vollständig~~ als Webstream. ~~Dank schlechter Internetverbindung~~Weil das Label nur Snippets online gestellt hat konnte ich in die Songs immer nur ein kurzes Stück reinhören – aber soweit ich höre, wird das fett.

Offenbar gibt’s auch eine Beatsteaks-iPhone-App, die wird jetzt erstmal getestet und dann stehen hier nachher noch Dinge über die drin.

Update: Die iPhone-App ist ganz nett. Tourdaten, Infos, Videos, Bilder und Kommentare von Fans sind möglich. Ist aber jetzt auch kein Must-Have und scheint mir irgendein Template zu sein, das man an die jeweilige Band anpassen kann. Na ja, ist ja umsonst, da woll’n wa mal nicht meckern.

Erkältungen sind eine dumme Sache. Besonders, wenn man sich auf die mündlichen Magister-Uni-Prüfungen vorbereiten möchte, aber der Kopf komplett dicht ist. Zur Steigerung der Laune verhilft da die wunderbare neue Single der Beatsteaks, Milk & Honey (die heute praktischerweise auch als Single herausgekommen ist. EP im iTMS). Einnahme: Täglich mindestens drei Mal.
